Health and safety supervisor wanted in Allegany County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Allegany County, New York. The job is on a high-rise building project. On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 3+ years on the tools preferred.
