Maintenance and repair technician — City and Borough of Birmingham

Now hiring: we are hiring a maintenance and repair technician in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. You will be based in a packaging and bottling plant. You should have: • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills • Confident reading technical and electrical drawings • Lockout/tagout and electrical safety training On a typical shift you will lubricate moving parts and top up oil and grease per the maintenance schedule; weld and fabricate brackets, guards and replacement parts as needed; test electrical circuits, motors and control panels with a multimeter; replace worn bearings, seals, belts and couplings; keep a maintenance log of work carried out and spare parts used. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
