We are recruiting: appliance installation and repair technician (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an appliance installation and repair technician in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The job is in a rental property between tenancies. On the job you will handle: • Check earth continuity and insulation resistance with a PAT tester before handover • Diagnose faults in washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, fridges and ovens using multimeters and manufacturer fault codes • Recharge and evacuate refrigerant circuits on fridges and freezers using recovery equipment • Replace worn drum bearings, seals and belts on washing machines • Solder and braze copper pipework on refrigeration units • Advise customers on appliance care and preventive maintenance You should have: • Physically fit for lifting and manoeuvring heavy appliances • Up to date with PAT testing and electrical safety regulations Full-time, day shift.
