Immediate opening: estate gardener (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an estate gardener in Newton County, Texas. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
