Join our team: we are hiring a groundworker in Walker County, Georgia. You will be based on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On the job you will handle: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Full-time with occasional weekends.
