Vertical milling machine operator — Sherburne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Sherburne County, Minnesota. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day-to-day duties: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
