Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Sabuwa, Katsina State. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
