Laundry presser wanted in Anderson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Anderson County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
