Aluminium tig welder wanted in Fresno County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Fresno County, California. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
