Offshore rigger — Hart County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Hart County, Georgia. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
