Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Essex County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Physically fit and comfortable working at height 6+ years on the tools preferred.
