Heavy goods vehicle driver — Pierce County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Pierce County, Wisconsin. You will work at a haulage company. You will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided.
