The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
