Visual inspection operator wanted in Magoffin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Magoffin County, Kentucky. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day to day you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
