Appliance installation and repair technician — Newton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an appliance installation and repair technician in Newton County, Texas. The job is in a white goods retailer's service department. Ideal candidate: • Willing to carry an on-call rota for emergency callouts • Good customer manner and clear communication with clients • Proven experience repairing domestic appliances You will diagnose faults in washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, fridges and ovens using multimeters and manufacturer fault codes; test and replace heating elements, thermostats and thermal fuses; check earth continuity and insulation resistance with a PAT tester before handover; complete job sheets and service reports for each callout. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
