Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Sevier County, Tennessee. You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
