Flyscreen technician — Wallowa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flyscreen technician in Wallowa County, Oregon. You will be based on a balcony or veranda installation. Day-to-day duties: • Measure window and door openings on site for made-to-measure screens • Fit pleated (plisse) screens with side tracks and folding mesh • Fit fibreglass or PVC-coated mesh into frame channels with a spline roller • Drill and fix mounting brackets, hinges and catches to window frames What we are looking for: • Knowledge of aluminium, fibreglass and PVC-coated mesh types • Able to quote jobs and order correct frame sizes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
