Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Inyo County, California. You will work on an industrial refinery shutdown. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms On the job you will handle: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope Full-time with occasional weekends.
