Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Fannin County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T On the job you will handle: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
