Cabinet maker wanted in City of Martinsville

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cabinet maker in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Day-to-day duties: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
