Heat pump and renewables installer — Blaenau Gwent

Now hiring: we are hiring a heat pump and renewables installer in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. The job is in a rural property with a ground source loop field. On a typical shift you will wire the outdoor and indoor units back to the controller and isolator; braze copper refrigerant lines using oxy-acetylene or nitrogen purge; survey the property and calculate heat loss room by room; fit and wire room thermostats, zone valves and smart controls; fit condensate drainage from the outdoor unit. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of heat loss calculations and system sizing • MCS or manufacturer-accredited heat pump installer certification • Proven experience installing air source or ground source heat pumps Part-time with flexible hours.
