Reinforcement fitter • Hart County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Hart County, Kentucky. The job is at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
