Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
