Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Abia State. On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
