Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in West Northamptonshire, England. Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
