Immediate opening: we are hiring a halal butcher in City of Suffolk, Virginia. The role involves: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
