Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Menard County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 5+ years on the tools preferred.
