Fabricator-welder — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Grant County, Kansas. The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
