Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Daura, Katsina State. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements You will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height.
