We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Polk County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Full-time, day shift.
