Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Aurora County, South Dakota. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. Day to day you will balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres. Requirements: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
