Safety marshal • Lee County, Alabama

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Lee County, Alabama. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
