Now hiring: mechanical press operator (Missouri)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in New Madrid County, Missouri. You will be based at an auto components factory. Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg We offer $4,000 per project plus benefits.
