Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Kern County, California. You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times On a typical shift you will break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean.
