Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Denali Borough, Alaska. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time with occasional weekends.
