Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Iron County, Michigan. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
