Immediate opening: steward (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a steward in Ellsworth County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Day to day you will load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
