Now hiring: we are hiring a cake decorator in Cherokee County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Rotating shifts.
