Crane operator — Letcher County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Letcher County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
