Cnc lathe operator — Colquitt County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Colquitt County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off.
