Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Presidio County, Texas. The job is at a busy production line. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
