Gas appliance installer • City of Waynesboro, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. The job is in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Your main tasks: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
