Ironing operator — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Carroll County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
