Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience The role involves: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Meals and transport allowance provided.
