Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. The job is at a plant nursery. The role involves: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
