We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Jackson County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On the job you will handle: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Part-time with flexible hours.
