Ceiling and wall plasterer • Montrose County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Montrose County, Colorado. On the job you will handle: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
