We are recruiting: natural gas fitter (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Sedgwick County, Kansas. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
