Urgent requirement: stitching operator (South Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Georgetown County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
