Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Pinal County, Arizona. On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
